Dr. Erin Parks is a clinical psychologist, researcher, and co-founder of Equip, a virtual eating disorder treatment program that provides evidence-based care for individuals of all ages. As Equip's Chief Clinical Officer, she oversees strategic operations and clinical programs, ensuring the maintenance of gold-standard clinical outcomes and progressive research initiatives. With over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in various eating disorder treatment settings, Dr. Parks has witnessed the disparities in access to and quality of care firsthand. Before co-founding Equip, she was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at UC San Diego. There, she established the first pediatric eating disorder clinic for children aged 6-12 and later focused on business development for the Center's five eating disorder programs. A graduate of Northwestern University and UC San Diego, Dr. Parks is dedicated to creating high-quality mental health treatment that fosters lasting recovery.
